I started developing my acting career at 6 years old: commercials, modeling, background work and short films. Acting is something I have wanted to do for a long time and thanks to the supporting cast that surrounds me, I've been able to achieve this goal.
In late 2021 through late 2022 my mother and I went through multiple car accidents leading to the momentum of my budding acting career to decelerate. Due to the seemingly never ending problems these accidents created health, housing and economic obstacles for my mom. Unfortunately my performance career could no longer be a priority for her. Mom had to turn her efforts towards regaining stability and eventually I had to move in with my father.
Fortunately I landed in a filmmaking high school in Queens. Here I found new interests like editing and directing. I continue to take steel pan classes and doing performances with a band and an orchestra. My other music classes slowed to a halt, despite my continued interests. I know there is still much on acting I looking to develop. I've gotten back on my feet, I might stumble a little but that's still enough to move forward and I'm ready to come back.

In the Spring of 2024, also the last few months of Noble’s 10th grade in H.S., Noble had to undergo spinal surgery. Two rods and 22 pins were inserted to provide necessary support to his spine.
During this phase of his life, his career was put on pause, and health and healing were in the spotlight. He experienced the vulnerability that being fully disabled placed him in. The isolation of his recovery. The responsibilities of his commitments to education and his band. He embraced his healing and developed a focus on his commitment to growth, only the way a teenager in his position could….

Noble had to learn to walk again. During his year of healing, Noble didn't express to his peers and teachers what he was going through; he had steel pan performances, college prep opportunities, and eventually sports teams. He used this experience not as an excuse to do nothing, but as a reason to do more, push his limits. It wasn't just
Noble had to learn to walk again. During his year of healing, Noble didn't express to his peers and teachers what he was going through; he had steel pan performances, college prep opportunities, and eventually sports teams. He used this experience not as an excuse to do nothing, but as a reason to do more, push his limits. It wasn't just his body that was growing stronger during this phase. His character was reinforcing: discipline, focus, motivation, strength of mind. He acknowledged that he wasn't the best player on the team, but that no other player was pushing through the challenges of healing that he was.
Now that Noble is ready to look at high school through his rearview mirror, he feels empowered to pursue the training and acting career he always longed for. He is currently on a mission to find out where that next step, college, will be.
I have a passion for Acting and I am looking forward to further developing that skill. As much as I have accomplished as a young actor, I never had formal training. High School has brought to light my strengths in Filmmaking, Directing, Editing, Math, Science, Sports & Music. I am looking for a college opportunity that can help me develop ALL of my talents and provide opportunities to indulge in my interests. I am so excited to take control of my acting career and go to college. Get ready, cuz here I come!

Noble (center in all black) practicing soon after his surgery to prepare for the upcoming Spring concert. Itw as nice to be surrounded by friends during this time, as he was unable to go to school in person during his recovery.

Steel Pan, like the material it is made of, develops a strength of character for those who have committed to learn it. It was born out of Trinidad and carries the spirit of the African Drum and influences of the modern notes of stringed instruments.
This is a note from Noble’s mom about the significance of Steel Pan on his development. The band he joined 7 years ago when he was just 10 years old is called Ekkquinox.
The sound the steel drum creates is inviting; fulfilling its destiny to create community through sound. To play in a steel drum band is a commitment that requires the support of the community to sustain. Each instrument is large and heavy but we all work together so the real work can begin. When children are too young to manage the weight of the instruments, parents and elder members of the band step in to set the stage for learning. Eventually, the kids grow and can manage the literal weight of this responsibility for setting their own stage for learning. Those unable to aid in the physical set up, observe a community where working together was normalized and working hard was expected. You best believe that after all that work it took to set up the instruments, they are staying at LEAST 4 hours to practice. The dismantling of the equipment after practice is equally as careful and time-consuming as it was to set it up but weariness is added to the mix teaching persistence. The same community it benefits works together for the cause to go home and relax.
It is my belief that the reputable social scientist, Malcolm Gladwell, would theorize that this kind of experience laid the foundation for a young man to grow up to be remarkable. This kind of enduring experience would shape his character for the better. Noble so far has reflected this impact by maintaining leaderships roles in school, working hard to maintain good grades (currently a 4.0), and not being intimidated by hard work (such as volunteering to take AP Calculus). It is no coincidence that he is a committed member and role model for the teams and productions he participates in.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
-- Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
There is not a commitment that Noble excused himself from when he had to recover from back surgery, his decision, — even steel pan. His bandmates would assist with setting up his instruments. In the practice room a blow-up mattress and specially padded chairs were set up to accommodate him when he needed to relax. The day of the performance no one could tell that he was in excruciating pain. He showed up for the team, played his best he was discreet about his discomfort, and then was rushed home after the show to further recover.
To some it may be considered distasteful to disclose Noble's past health issue. This portfolio demonstrates Noble's talents and abilities in many interesting ways, however, now is not the time to be modest about his biggest asset, his character.
I am proud to say that Noble has lived up to the name I gave him, and his dad is proud of the man he influenced him to be. I hope you welcome him into your University. You won’t regret it!

Noble is in the middle of his Senior year in a high school for Filmmaking and Television Production, ACTVF. He is further developing his acting craft from the perspective of the filmmaker. He is a member of the SAG union and committed to growth in this industry.
Noble is finding himself in demand in Los Angeles, CA more and more for short film projects, most notably "A Year to Life" created by Nikki Hevesy & Jahmal Holland. He is coming of age in real life and facing those realities on screen.
Noble, at four (4) years old didn't have a home with a television in it, the substitute was access to his mom's a laptop and DVDs, his favorite ones were Marvel. He would watch the movie once then was enamored by the behind the scenes videos that document how it was made and chose to watch that over and over and over again. At six (6) years old Noble landed a role on his first audition and would make his acting debut in a Disney Junior Black History Month commercial alongside some prestigious young actors. He was the only one on set with no prior work experience. Noble was ready to back out of the gig when he learned that people would see him on tv. Convincing him to give it a try and comparing it the night before was the only hard part about that event. Seeing the storyboard process, sitting in the makeup chair, and getting styled and performing in front of the green screen was living out the behind the scenes sections of the DVDs he put on repeat. Noble fell in love with acting.
Since 2016 Noble has polished his acting skills in The Blue Rock School and observing the process while working on various projects as a background actor. He worked on hit shows such as: "New Amsterdam", "Madame Secretary," "Orange is the New Black", "The Affair", & "The Last OG".
In 2019 Noble expressed that he was ready for the spotlight, he wanted a lead role. Noble was strategically placed in the care of young filmmakers of color with powerful messages to deliver, for the purpose of him learning that he too, can one day make magic happen. It turned out he would play lead roles in award winning notable films put together by teams of extraordinary artists on screen and behind the scenes.
Noble's first lead in a film is the short, the award winning, "Echoes of a Winter Sunshine" written and directed by Oniffe White has been selected for a number of film festivals across the US. It has been available on Amazon Prime and after winning at the BlackStar Film Festival (2020) was made available on Starz in early 2021.
"Bruiser" (2020) Written and Directed by Miles Warren is an official selection of the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. Noble plays a lead role alongside veteran actor JD Williams. This was a powerful short, shot on 16mm. Noble got sick on set the first day and pushed through the who 4 days of filming. He maintained his professionalism and gave what was perceived to be a winning performance from day 1.
Noble first experience in a film festival win was playing a supporting actor in the grand prize winning "Climate Change is Real" music video, written, directed and performed by Tom McGovern debuted at the 2019 Eco-Comedy Film Festival.
"20/20 Vision" a music video for DJ Drewski featuring Sheff G and Sleepy Hollow directed by Nimmi Hendrix.

Noble landed his first role in an off Broadway Production in the wildly popular family show, "Funikijam: Holiday Beat" written and directed by Brian Barrentine. Noble was hired to be a Holiday Helper, along with a number of other young talented actors. At some point after the first performance Brian put an African Drum in Noble's hands
Noble landed his first role in an off Broadway Production in the wildly popular family show, "Funikijam: Holiday Beat" written and directed by Brian Barrentine. Noble was hired to be a Holiday Helper, along with a number of other young talented actors. At some point after the first performance Brian put an African Drum in Noble's hands and Noble put to use his 5 years of African drum experience and accompanied the chorus on a number of songs in the production. Noble toured locally with the performers attending schools and parks as well as performing at the theater on weekends. Noble worked on the show 2 consecutive years beginning in 2018.
In the summer of 2019 Noble had a small but significant part in a powerful independent play titled "Golden: Black Boy Joy Conceptualized" written and directed by Kamaria J Hodge Noble was challenged for the first time to play a character he had no experience of being before. As a child actor he was always given roles he could relate to because he lived it. At 6 years old he played a 5 year old athlete. He had lost his home before, so playing a homeless or a poor kid was even relatable. However, playing a child finding comfort in wearing women's clothes was a role he couldn't relate to nor was he comfortable with it. The challenge was to prove he was indeed an actor. Noble met the challenge with professionalism and committed to the role. He did not betray his character in rehearsal nor front of a live audience and proved to himself and those closest to him that he is indeed an actor. For the first time he convincingly played a role that he had no experience being. His performances on screen moving forward were impacted by this pivotal performance.
His Director, Ms. Hodge explained to me that Noble is the actor that turns on when "Action" is called.

Noble is not the effervescent child actor. He shows up to set on time, is pretty quiet, then "turns on" when necessary. Noble's experience from rehearsing with a band, consists of timing, repetition, patience, discipline, pushing through discomfort, working with a group and waiting for your cue. Noble is not the effervescent child actor. He shows up to set on time, is pretty quiet, then "turns on" when necessary. Noble's experience from rehearsing with a band, consists of timing, repetition, patience, discipline, pushing through discomfort, working with a group and waiting for your cue. As a result, at such a young age, his directors find him so easy to work with. His noble disposition is just the cherry on top.
Noble's first language was music. He was a year old when his mom started volunteering at the South Bronx based Non-Profit, Renaissance Education, Music & Sports (since renamed the Renaissance Youth Center). Her goal was to started a toddler music program but other projects were more pressing at the time. Noble was the official mascot of the touring youth band, Music with a Message, as he sat in on long rehearsals and performances from 1-3 years old. At 2 years old Noble and his mom spent the night at the 163rd street location finishing up a grant. She would move her computer to the drum room while he played on the drums. One of the executives called to check in on the progress of the grant and heard music in the background. He couldn't believe that the deliberate rhythms coming from the phone were coming from 2 year old Noble. Noble put into practice what he observed from following around Chris Envy the multi-talented teacher and performer, when no one was looking. Mr. Q the executive that called that morning, made it his priority to start the toddler music program the next fall. Noble inspired an affordable toddler music program that still operates today. It was sudden and unplanned when he was uprooted from the South Bronx at 3 years old, but it was Noble's first experience at leaving a positive mark on his community.
At 4 years old Noble was invited to join the African drumming circle, "Drumming in Harmony" at St. Paul's Espicopal Church in Spring Valley, NY under the leadership of Arthur Lorde. Over the 6 years of instruction by Arthur Noble learned fundamentals of music that he would then carry over to his learning of Guitar and eventually Steel Pan. Noble started playing guitar at 7yrs old where he rocked out in his 3rd grade school talent show and won 1st place in the All Talent Network Talent Show. His mom could not afford for him to continue to take lessons despite the promise he showed in it so lessons were intermittent between 8 and 11 years old.
In February of 2019 Noble started taking steel pan lessons with Ekkquinox Steel Pan band, based in Spring Valley, NY. Noble had a strong aptitude for picking up the notes and instructors strongly recommended that he participate in the summer rehearsals with Despers USA Steel Pan Orchestra based in Brooklyn, NY. Noble "earned his colors" and was invited to join the orchestra in the Panorama competition that same summer in 2019. Noble also performed with his Ekk Band several times that summer at Great Adventure and opening for Machel Mantano in celebration of the Labor Day festivities of 2019. Noble performs and rehearses with his band in public venues such as the Palisades Mall for hours on end in all kinds of weather.
Noble is looking forward to learning piano as well, which is soon to come.

Noble has a experience doing voiceover work for educational brands such as Kognito and modeling for brands such as K'nex. He follows direction well and a face that the camera seems to like.

Now that Noble is in the driver's seat and ready to take charge of his career, he has decided that he want sit to begin with a college degree. He is currently focused on creating options.

Noble's greatest aspiration is to play the role of a Superhero. He understands that the "greats" that came before him mastered the arts, music, theatre and acting to qualify for those roles. Noble graciously and humbly recognizes that he has started on a similar path.
Noble also hopes to play a role of a musician on screen in order to combine his love of acting, music and performance for the screen.

Noble was born in October 2008 to a mother who has worked with various artists behind the scenes since the mid 90's and a father who loves to perform and has worked at NYC's Hot 97 for almost 20 years.
